  • Ingredients:
  • 20 large pitted dates
  • 10 slices of thick-cut bacon
  • Bamboo knotted cocktail picks
  • OPTIONAL: Toothpicks will work if you don’t have any cocktail picks, but avoid those flimsy flat toothpicks—they’ll break on you. Bamboo skewers work okay too; just put four or five bacon date rolls on each one.

Preheat oven to 350°.

Cut each slice of bacon in half. Roll a date up in each bacon slice and put a cocktail pick through each roll.

Put the bacon date rolls on a cooling rack or broiler rack so they won’t be sitting in a puddle of grease.

Bake at 350° for 30–35 minutes.
