Granny’s Sweet Pickles

From the ultra-secret files of my Granny!

Don't make any changes to this recipe. You don't want my granny to haunt you!
  • Ingre­di­ents:
  • No. 1 jar of plain dill pick­les (not kosher)
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 12 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. cel­ery seed
  • 1 tsp. mus­tard seed

Slice pick­les into thick coins.

Rinse and drain overnight.

Add oth­er ingre­di­ents in sealed con­tain­er and refrigerate.

Turn/stir until sug­ar is all dis­solved; about 5 days.
