Stop playing around and git in mah belly!
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 1⁄2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1⁄4 tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. butter, melted (or a little more!)
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1⁄2 cup plumped raisins or craisins (soak in water for about hour or so, then drain)
- 1⁄2 cup chopped nuts
- 2 cups milk
Grease crock pot generously. Put all ingredients in pot and mix well. Cook on lowest setting for 8–9 hours.
Makes 4 3⁄4 cups servings, so double or triple as needed! It comes out the consistency of apple crisp; for more moist, add more milk (1÷2 — 1 cup).
