Deep Dish Sausage Pizza

Take it easy, man! It’s just a piz­za.

  • Ingre­di­ents:
  • 12 lb.  Ital­ian sausage
  • 12 cup  chopped onions
  • 12 cup chopped green pep­pers
  • 12 cup  piz­za sauce
  • 1 can  (13.8 oz) refrig­er­at­ed piz­za dough
  • 8 oz. shred­ded Moz­zarel­la, divid­ed

Heat oven to 350ºF.

Brown sausage with veg­eta­bles in skil­let. Stir in piz­za sauce. Remove from heat.

Unroll piz­za dough; press onto bot­tom and up side of 9‑inch deep-dish pie plate sprayed with cook­ing spray. Sprin­kle 12 cup cheese onto bot­tom of crust; cov­er with sausage mix­ture and remain­ing cheese.

Bake 35 min­utes or until crust is gold­en brown. Let stand 10 min­utes before cut­ting to serve.
