If you like roasted breakfast potatoes you’ve probably seasoned them with Lawry’s Seasoning Salt or something similar. Try this seasoning and you’ll never go back!
- Ingredients
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. Ancho chile powder or your chili powder of choice
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 3 tsp. kosher salt
When I use up spices I hang on to the empty bottles; I love experimenting with spices and seasonings, and when I come up with one I like, I make a batch and put it with all the other store-bought spices.
Directions
Mix all ingredients together. Yeah; it’s that simple. I just put it all in a spice bottle like the one in the photo, screw on the lid and shake it. Easy peasy.
You can use this with roasted spuds, stovetop spuds, tots-—all things spud. However you make your spuds, I recommend tossing them in a little bit of butter or oil so the spice stays on the spuds.
