Don’t worry; this is not a poutine recipe.
- 4 cups cubed red potatoes
- 1 cup onion, chopped roughly
- 2 tbsp. Northwoods seasoning (available from Penzey’s)
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 375°. Coarsely chop onion and place in a bowl. Leaving skins on, cut potatoes and mix with onions. Toss potatoes with seasoning until well-coated, then toss with oil.
Pour into a 13×9 inch pan and place into the oven.
Stir potatoes every 10 minutes for 30 minutes then bake interrupted for about 30–40 minutes, until brown.
