Slop & Slather BBQ Sauce

  • Ingre­di­ents:
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
  • 1⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1⁄4 cup WASH YER SISTER! sauce
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1⁄2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1⁄4 to 1⁄2 tsp. cayenne pepper

In a medi­um saucepan over medi­um heat, com­bine ketchup, water, onion, brown sug­ar, WASH YER SISTER! sauce, vine­gar, chili pow­der, and cayenne pep­per. Bring to a boil­ing, reduce heat. Boil gen­tly, uncov­ered about 25 min­utes until mix­ture reduced to about 2 cups, stir­ring frequently.

Brush over beef, pork or poul­try as it grills.

Makes about 2 cups
