Look, it’s simple: You can get some good balsamic, or you can send your kids to college.
- 3–4 fresh garlic cloves
- 8 tbsp. olive oil
- 8 tsp. balsamic vinegar
Preheat oven to 325°.
Cut the garlic cloves into three or four slices each.
Combine the garlic and olive oil in a small oven-proof dish and roast at 325° until garlic is soft and brown, and the oil is infused with the garlic flavor.
Let cool. Whisk 8 tsp. balsamic vinegar into the garlic and oil mix.
Delicious on spinach salad or as a marinade for chicken breasts or skirt steak.
