You had me at “bacon.”
- 10 cups popcorn
- 1 lb. thick-sliced bacon, cooked and crumbed or roughly chopped
- Hang on to 2 tbsp. of the bacon fat after you cook the bacon
- 3⁄4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1⁄2 tzp. salt
- Cookie sheet
- Parchment paper
Preheat oven to 350°.
Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper, then spread your 10 cups popcorn.
Sprinkle with the bacon.
Whisk the reserved bacon fat, maple syrup, pepper and salt, then drizzle over popcorn, tossing to coat.
Spread in a single layer and bake 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
