Maple Bacon Popcorn

You had me at “bacon.”

  • Ingredients:
  • 10 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 lb. thick-sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled or roughly chopped
  • Hang on to 2 tbsp. of the bacon fat after you cook the bacon
  • 34 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 12 tsp. salt
  • Cookie sheet
  • Parchment paper

Preheat oven to 350°.

Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper, then spread out your 10 cups of popped popcorn.

Sprinkle with the bacon.

Whisk the reserved bacon fat, maple syrup, pepper and salt, then drizzle over popcorn, tossing to coat.

Spread in a single layer and bake 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Bacon Like a BOSS!

Are you draining your bacon fat into a container and throwing it out? Or worse, dumping it down the drain so it can be part of the next disgusting fatberg to make the news?

DO. NOT. THROW. AWAY. BACON. FAT!

It’s like unwrapping a Wonka candy bar and throwing away the chocolate and the Golden Ticket!
