Chocolate Layered Delight

All the choco­late in this makes Willy Won­ka green with envy.

You can't argue with science.
  • 1st lay­er:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 stick but­ter, melt­ed
  • 12 cup chopped pecans

Pre­heat oven to 350°. Mix and press into 9×13 inch pan. Bake for 15 min­utes at 350°. Remove and let cool.

  • 2nd Lay­er:
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, soft­ened
  • 1 cup Cool Hwip (save some more for lat­er, too)
  • 1 cup pow­dered sug­ar

Mix cream cheese and pow­dered sug­ar at medi­um. Fold in Cool Hwip and spread over first lay­er.

  • 3rd Lay­er:
  • 2 3‑oz. pack­ages of instant pud­ding (I like choco­late but you can use vanil­la or key lime or what­ev­er you like)
  • 3 cups whole milk, very cold
  • 14 cup pow­dered sug­ar

Mix ingre­di­ents gen­tly and spoon over first two lay­ers. Top with remain­ing Cool Hwip and refrig­er­ate.

Optional:

Shave some choco­late on top.
