French Toast Casserole

Qui veut du pain gril­lé quand tu pour­rais avoir du pain gril­lé français?

  • Ingre­di­ents:
  • 10 oz. French bread, cut into 1 inch cubes (about 10 cups )
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 4 tsp. sug­ar
  • 1 tsp. vanil­la
  • 34 tsp. salt
  • Top­ping:
  • 2 tbsp. but­ter, cubed
  • 3 tbsp. sug­ar
  • 2 tsp. cin­na­mon
  • Maple syrup

Place bread cubes in greased 9×13 inch pan. In mix­ing bowl, beat milk, eggs, sug­ar, vanil­la, and salt. Pour over bread. Cov­er and refrig­er­ate overnight. (at least 8 hours)

Remove from fridge 30 min­utes pri­or to cook­ing. Dot with but­ter. Com­bine sug­ar, and cin­na­mon, sprin­kle over top. Cov­er and bake at 350 ° or 40–45 min­utes or until knife insert­ed in cen­ter comes out clean. Let stand 5 min­utes. Serve with syrup.
